Why Get Dentures From Dr. Nina Foley? Dr. Foley was ranked #1 Best Dentist by the Nashville Scene Readers Poll in 2010 and our smile gallery contains dozens of pictures and testimonials from happy patients. Our dentures are crafted with the utmost care to create a natural looking smile with unparalleled comfort and fit. Unlike "24 hour denture stores" ... our process involves multiple steps to ensure that you receive dentures you'll enjoy for many years. As a full service dental practice, we can perform dental procedures that denture stores just can't offer. Such as "bone grafting" to rebuild and restore your mandible, or dental implants that actually fuse with your jaw bone and permanently affix to your denture. Our Process For Creating Custom Dentures During your consultation, we'll discuss the differences between acrylic and porcelain dentures, and make a recommendation for which of these would be better for you. We'll also determine if dental implants would be beneficial in addition to dentures. Next, we'll take "impressions" of your bite and build a wax model of your dentures to make decisions about the size and shape of the final denture. This gives us the opportunity create a denture that looks and feels natural with proper support for your teeth and lips. Once the wax model is complete, we'll choose the shape and shade for your teeth and send the model to our dentures lab. Many clients bring in pictures of their smile from their past, or photos of smiles that they'd like to have. Your dentures are then manufactured by Root Lab, the worldwide leader in denture manufacturing, who creates your custom dentures following our specifications. When your dentures return to our office, you'll need to return for a brief appointment to test the denture and allow us to make any final adjustments. We want you to leave with dentures that look and feel great! Many of our clients opt to get dental implants at the same time as their dentures for a more comfortable and secure fit. Quote: "About 15 years ago I started losing my teeth. It started with a bridge, then partials, and finally full dentures. Along the way my teeth and lips became crooked. I could see it when I looked in the mirror and would tell the doctors when I got new dentures but nothing changed. When I let Dr. Foley work on me she took great care to listen thoroughly to my concerns. She thoroughly restored my chin, teeth, and smile to what they had once been. I can't tell you how pleasing it is to look in the mirror and see my face as it once was. I love to smile."
